Speaking of this. And in relation to the Pacific compilation list of this thread.

I have varified the version on the Ibiza The Story So Far... compilation and it is the 303 version. But it is a mix CD. And otherwise pretty horrible.

The Dance Years - retrospective TV feat. 808

Around 2001 BBC DJ Dave Pearce hosted a series of UK TV shows focusing on the club anthems and movements of past years. Like I said. I stopped maintaining this list a looong time ago. Marcus and Nick can pick it up for the discogs section if they like. We can discuss changes in this thread.

The [] remarks are the version as stated on the compilation tracklisting. The version column is the confirmed version.

And 909 is on the US promo CD (admittedly, that is hard to find, though).... I do not care about availabillity...

Bit on the nerdy tip. Whatever. On an old hard drive I have just found a document I used to have fun maintaining. Compilations featuring Pacific. From various online sources I was filling up information on released containing the dear Pacific. I stopped keeping it alive maybe 5 years ago. Anybody fe...

Great. Look all damn exiting.

We can argue for ages about tracklistings. But one thing I really miss is Pacific 909.

808state's Tartan Army wrote:If I remember right from a previous thread, Pacific was "born" on February 6th 1989. Sueno Latino was released in the UK on September 23rd 1989 and Afro Dizzi Act on August 2nd 1989. So there is a good chance that both were written after Pacific.
Where do you get those exact release dates?
