Apart from OT the last album I bought was Orbitals Middle of Nowhere, in other words, to my knowledge, there haven't been any releases that on are on a par with 808 etc.

Can somebody recommend an essential album which an 808/Orbital fan would adore ?

Wow, I feel so out of the loop. I'm 23, from the US, and use to spend half my time watching MTV, even late at night in the summers of 1989-94. Never, ever once recall having seen an 808 State video, much less any of the other bands mentioned in the first post (that I now know and love).
