News in the Rochdale Observer yesterday says that Deeply Vale has now been cancelled due to the landowner wanting £350,000 and a share of the profits. It mentions that Graham Massey of 808 State played there last time with Danny And The Dressmakers. Blimey - first time I've seen 808 mentioned in our...

I actually thought my suggestion was a a serious one.

Anyway, if you're running out of space now but the intention is to put them all on, then no matter what encoding you use, you'll run out again.

(was that English? Not sure)

I agree that the higher the better. However, also understand the need for space.

How about 160kbps initially - then us lot can grab them. Then, after a month or two, swap them for 96kbps.

Seems like the best of both worlds to me.

How busy are Darren and Andy?

It has been 4 years since Outpost was released (yep, I was surprised too!). That came 6 years after Don Solaris which was 4 years after Gorgeous. Surely we're due a new album soon. What are D&A doing? They never post on here. I've only ever seen 1 post from Andy, so what are they doing? I know i...

Oh yes, I've read about the Rephlex release. I just meant that it is shame it's not going to be part of the full re-issue complete with bonus disc etc.

I was anticipating a 2008 release (twenty year anniversary and all that).

I'm still a bit stuck on why Outpost Transmission is being released but Quadrastate isn't. Never mind, music company politics is not something I know anything about.

Does Gerald get paid now? Does he have records released? Does he have a following? Is he credited with one of the best house / dance records of all time? The answer to all these questions is YES. So what's his problem? He needs to give it a rest and use his energy to create intelligent top notch tun...

Fantastic news. N-Joi are class and Inside Out is one of my fave non-808 albums.

Here's hoping a new album appears soon.
