As you know there was a lot in the news about music piracy today but did anyone see the news at ten? My mom saw a copy of Outpost Transmission on TV when they were showing a short film of pirate CDs on a market stall.
Was she seeing things or did anyone else see it?

Don't even get me started on that...
I work for a software development company who is making a redux of Metal Gear Solid for Konami and Nintendo.
I have a personal HATE for mutha Fu$%ers that pirate games and music in general. It's a VERY bad problem in asia. Nintendo just won a legal battle against a Chinese company that created an N-Cube emulator and wer selling it.
THAT kind of shit hurts our sales. Eternal Darkness only sold 300,000 units internationally and I hope it was not because of piracy.
AT THE SAME TIME... I do understand the fact that games should be sold at a more affordable price. It just takes millions to make one believe it or not. We worked on Eternal Darkness for over 3.5 years. Imagine the wages forked out with a staff of over 60 employees here. THEN there's the marketing.
I wonder if lower costs would curb piracy a bit more...

I am so looking forward to Metal Gear Solid 3. Hopefully it will be out next year in England. I can't wait, that is top of my list as well as Resident Evil Outbreak, both on PS2.
