Just a note to introduce myself...
Alas, I must admit to not being perhaps as up to the minute as some of you out there regarding 808 state, but I do have several of their albums including the MC tunes one (if my mate Al hasn´t nicked them again!), and I did have the good fortune to see them play once at The Junction in Cambridge, and they have been quite influential in my own material...and I lke em´, so there... :0)
I also like all kinds of other weird(er) shit too...and I especially love the 1970´s Weather Report and Herbie Hancock stuff.
OK, I off now to make strange noises on my "Sootyphone", Banjo and Hammond organ.
