Does anyone know the details of the Cubik amen break bootleg from ~1991-1992? I heard it once on a carnival ride and then again on a dodgy mega mix CD titled: Techno Turbo Beat.
Its short lived in the mega mix but I can describe that the Cubik stabs are there as well as a slow groovey amen break and some interesting bongo percusion. I've always wanted to know what this version was so I could score the 12" of it.
Any help would be appreicated. I wanted to email 808state about this matter but I could not find their email on the site, just the email for the webmaster.

NO MORE MIND GAMES
ah the blissed out memories
So happy to hear Stu Allen was a fav of yours as well graham...he was my hero from 90/91/92...remember talking to him in Ibiza 91 and praising him non stop...was a bit loved up like but thats another story.
Also all that talk just lately about Manchester and the Hacienda got me wondering if any of the other jocks that come on this board used to go to the Glasgow Hacienda? I was there every weekend, they used to play all the same tunes as in Manchester, had the same vibe as Manchester...especially with most weekends offering a dash of glaswegian gangster blood on the dance floor.
I'll leave it there....to many stories I do not want to start on about!
peace out!
Gary

Thanks Graham, however I found out latter on the B2TOS board that "Rage" is not the tune (someone posted an mp3 of it, thats how I know). I'm surprised as Groove is the type that would have made a rough tune like that. At least I know its not "Rage" unless its another cut on that same 12"? "Rage" however, was a nice tune however it actually sounds more acid house then the original Cubik which I find odd.
I'll post a short sample of the Cubik bootleg I'm trying to ID a bit latter, probably tomorrow.
There really must be tons of bootlegs and rips of Cubik out there. I remember Information Society did "Peace and love Inc", and there was also Cosmo & Dibs "Sonic Rush". More recently there was a rip off on RAM records called "Skullcrusher". I'm curious how that one of a kind sound was made in the first place but thats really for another thread, another time.
