808 /rolf film turns up in carrier bag

Howard Walmsley came and filmed our day with rolf back in 1992 @FON
Which has remained lost untill this morning when it was discoverd in a carrier bag in his cellar..not shure what it is yet ,but will have the painting of the 808 mural on Fons car park wall which I m told is still there..
(incidentley theres quite a bit about FON ,Al Fisch etc in "Beats Working For A Living,Sheffield Popular Music 1973 1984" by Martin Lilliker..published by Juma)..I havent listened to the remix we did in 98? until recently when andy used it in the mix .. did the 93 one see the light of day or do I have the only copy ? we did southern cross the same weekend..so may be thats on the film

There was a CD single issued back in 1997 (CDROO001):

7" Radio Edit
808 State Mix
12" 808 State Vocal Mix
12" 808 Dub Mix
12" Outback Mix

I don't have the white label (but Markus does), so I don't know what tracks were on there?

If you want timings, I'll try and put them on the board when I get back home from Southend!

great to hear... would love to see it in some shape or form...

Sunarise has appeared three times i think. the 12" promo, the CD single, and also on the 808 Remixes promo tape... not sure how all the versions differ though - i'll do some listening at the weekend...

I'm extremely, totally excited, but just snowed under at the moment with stuff to do, e.g. Turin page, Tokyo page, and would like to make a ZTT bonus cd re-issues ideas page...

Nope, you're not alone - my taste buds were heightened when Andy played an unreleased mix on the recent 6Music Radio show

Personally, I'd love to see the video and hear all the unreleased mixes, so anything that can make this happen would be fantastic.

As I haven't got the promo 12"/cassette, I'll have to leave the listening to Ian or Markus to determine about unreleased mixes... I do have the above mentioned CD single, and love those mixes!

Finally dug out my white label 12" copy of Rolf Harris. It has three tracks, the same versions as on the CD single (5 mixes) released in 1997. The 12 has the 12"808 Vocal mix, 12 "808 Dub mix & 12"Outback mix (not by 808).
I think the 93 mix remained unreleased. Graham, does it differ much from the 97 mixes?
