Don Solaris vinyl - Top rarity?

I came to think of the Don Solaris vinyl edition.

Although DS was a full-on album release I think the vinyl is top rare. I cannot recall I have ever seen it for sale. Ever! Shop, net, ebay anywhere. Not even when I bought my own copy. That was ordered specially at the record shop when I returned from Castlefield. As there where no copies seen in Manchester either. And added to that it took some persuasion, as they did not believe anything went out on vinyl anymore.

That copy was so hard to get, even as a new release, and then it had a flaw in Bird. The groove makes a loop. But it is perfect. You cannot hear the needle going back. I didn't bother to return it, and here we are.

Yes, it took me a long time to find the vinyl edition - did it ever come with the tracing paper wrap-around?

I've now managed to find all formats - the cassette was my last find (with tracing paper sleeve) - I now have 30 808 State cassettes (albums, promos, and cassette singles)!

I found mine when it came out, if memory serves me right it was in a German shop. Not seen it since. No tracing paper.

Unusual Ive never seen it but its sprung up on Ebay!
