Saw Terry Farley DJ at Ascension (where the last 808 Manchester gig was)
on Friday night. Sound house all night.
Then saw Rob B (of The Stereo MC's) DJ at Friends & Family at The Roadhouse on Saturday. He played loads of bass heavy hip-hop early on, then a bit of soul, old school hip-hop and funk later on.
All in all, a top night - at one point I was even dancing next to Daddy G of Massive Attack!
I have to say Rob B is one of the most chilled-out geezas I have ever met (it may have had something to do with the sensi, etc)!
