Just over a decade ago The Stone Roses emerged from the depths of Manchester and created such a massive impression on the indie scene that even now they are still imitated by bands the length and breadth of the country.

With their own unique style of magnificently understated indie-psychedelia, The Roses will always be celebrated for their inspirational act of uniting the mutually exclusive worlds of indie guitar pop and club culture. Their work acquired legendary status and The Stone Roses are widely regarded as one of the most important indie/rock bands of the last 20 years.

After last year's release of the Anniversary Edition of their debut album 'The Stone Roses', and the inclusion of the album in almost every critics 'Best of the Millennium' polls, the release of this new album The Stone Roses - 'The Remixes' is the next step in continuing legacy of The Roses.

Twelve tracks remixed and revered by some of the most innovative producers/DJ's of the moment are included on the album - some old, some new, some old and previously unreleased and ever only heard by die-hard fans who managed to get hold of dodgy bootleg cassette copies from Camden Market. This album, with its up-to-date interpretations of original classics, is sure to be a delight to Roses' fans old and new.
