808state.com was unavailable recently because the server bandwidth allowance had been exceeded. Normally we use between 100 and 150 gigs per month. This month we exceeded 250 gigs on the 23rd of the month. This equals around 4500 downloads of mp3 files (!) I think one of the problems is that people stream the files several times instead of downloading them once. So please, download those radio shows and 808 tunes, don't stream them, and please don't suck the sound section in all at once...
