i heard that ian brown was to appear on the new 808 state album

is this true

if not does anyone know about the track he did with them

is it available to buy

No, he doesn't appear on the new album (at least he's not credited on the sleevenotes).

Maybe the track was recorded but not on the album? Probably the only people who'll know that are the band - Graham?

Ian Brown did record a track with 808 State-well he added vocals to a track sent to him -way back circa 1998.

I don't know is this the one you are talking about ?
It never got out of the studio.

I certainly didn't hear anything since about a Ian Brown tune.

Just after I had placed the question in the OT FAQ, I noticed another rumour in a press release on the Simply Vinyl site. Trying to find out from Graham if there's any truth in it.

Very true... I still have one for Electronic's "Twisted Tenderness" - virtually nothing came from any of the claims...
