Keep an eye out for a woman called Mary. If she's got a round bum then that's one you can tick off your list.

Ancodia, Donkey Doctor etc etc where did they all come from???

PS Does anyone else think that the "big country" sample spoils the only rhyme that bites a little??

I got souflex from a wrestlin move, although I bellieve it is spelt a little differently in england. Makus did find an american website with a refrence to souflex connected to wrestling/fighting.

The move is like this.....your opponent picks you up by your pants upside down way above his shoulders then drops you to the mat in a back breaking move!!

Just like a good 808 tune, picks you up hiiiigh and sends yer crashin :D

The actual wrestling move is called a Suplex but obviously it's great to have named a track on the album. After all none of my twenty odd titles were picked, although too many were related to the Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy. (Markus do you still have the 808 Anagrams? :-? )
So Long and thanks for all the fish, :P

Who knows where 808 get thier track names from.

Perhaps they have had a little too much Purple Dust when they dream them up, Perhaps they watched an episode of Quincy and saw him having his lunch, maybe they dress up a cowboys and get pissed on Lambrusco, possibly Andy has a doorbell that plays techno, Daz could be into stretched tangarines. Anyway I reckon too much time spent with keyboards resulted in Sexy Synthesizer. (Not a nice thought, but what the guys do in thier own time is thier own business!)

f*** knows where Mooz, Jerusahat, Lungfoo, Kohoutek, Bombadin, Nbambi and Qmart came from?

Graham any strange hobbies / interests to confess? Do you have your own secret language or do you just genereally make them up???

Anyway they are all great names, personal fave is In yer Face, what a great name for anything!

Actually, I have found out what Kahoutek means, or to be more precise what it is. It is a COMET on a collision course with America! Also some weird american apocolyptic cult was formed around the prediction. Don't know when it wil hit though;)

I find the titles the most disappointing... but that's because I have no idea what the references are.

The melody in Lift--- from elevator music... anyone know what piece?

I guess some of them especially on OT are just way out there.

That reminds me lads, the 'chimey' melody in 90's "Sunrise" @ 2:35 in the song...

Anyone know what that's from? I remember watching a commercial on the tele and a jazzy old tune was playing that melody with a horn section.

It was a weird toothpaste commercial where it featured the camera as a first person view with the viewer in the dentist chair. Staring at the dentist light and ceiling. And while the patient is getting severly worked on, this 'elevator muzak' is playing a jazz version of sunrise. (or whatever the original is... ) It was very gameshow sounding.

It made me jump up and ask "WHERE 'AVE I HEARD THAT MELODY B4!?!?!?!" Very cool! I love it when that happens.

Much like the time when I watched Willy Wonka for the first time and the sample of "We are the music makers... and we are the dreamers of the dreams..." rolled by.

Or in Disney's Forbidden Planet when the professor explains the subturrain alien's energy generator power amp cycles... "10x10x10x10x10x10x10.."

Bloody hell, I've lost me marbles...

Being a HUGE St Etienne fan is just as crazy with the film samples too. Especially the Audrey Hepburn flicks.

Why.... I think 808 should do a 'floaty' track with the lurvly Sarah Cracknell. She's quite the sweet biscuit even if she's a cougar.

Well... maybe they shouldn't. ;P
