I am co-organiser of an event called 'The Butterfly Effect': annual International Butterfly Day for World Peace.
Please check out the web-site: www.butterfly-effect.info
We had our first one yesterday at a nature reserve in Greater Manchester. There was a butterfly walk, a stall with butterfly and peace literature, a solstice dance in the evening with 100+ people and we raised money for butterfly conservation.
In the afternoon we made butterfly wings for the dance.
All in all it was a really beautiful day - a report is going on the web-site soon.
Andy and Darren were going to come along but were in Singapore, but the 808 'tribe' was represented by Andys' wife, Mandy and nippers.
Part of the inspiration for the day was a 'Save The Butterfly' post on www.808state.com so thanks to whoever put that one on.
This is an event that I am now going to market and promote internationally.
If anyone would like to take part next year please have a look at the web-site for more details.
Peace, butterflies and positive vibes,
'Dr.' Walsh
