just got back from the respect festival in manchester and it was top!
i got to see a few acts while i was working on a stall, including homelife. the best way i can describe homelife live is funked-up, modernised syd-era pink floyd with an opera diva on vocals. does this make sense to anyone else?
'flying wonders' is a top tune and paddy steer was keeping the manchester festival sunhat vibe alive!
and while they played there was a double rainbow in the sky!
other notable highlights were gregory isaacs who toasted us all to jamaica and back, and mr.scruff who enthralled the manchester massive in the dance tent with some classic funk, disco and reggae!
