daft punk 'human after all'

been listening to this all week.. they've gone back to the rawness of 'homework' but even more so, all the tracks sound like they've been put through the bit-crusher, compressed and gated to hell.. a couple of them (prime time of your life, the brainwasher, which actually sounds like a 160BPM gabba track played at 33rpm) sound like the aphex twin doing disco. fave tracks are 'human after all', 'robot rock' and 'the brainwasher'..

Sounds promising. Has anyone heard the Daft Club album of remixes? How do they compare with the originals? Any good?

Got to say I really don't like the new Daft Punk effort. It all sounds a bit similar and they've gone mental with the vocoder.

The Daft Club CD is pretty naff, I don't rate much they've done since Homework.

The Daft Club CD was a bit of a let down, I could only get into about 3-4 of the tracks and even then had 2 of those from b-sides on import CD singles.
But it has to be remembered that it was only a compilation of tracks given away on their website. I remember having the card/details to sign up but the service didn't work on Macs, but then I would have to Think Different!
