Thanks mate,
I was 18 when Newbuild came out and at the time saw it as a quirky English take on the 'true' US acid house scene. Now I see it as a superior, experimental record of more depth and longevity. And then in just over a year they shift focus and create classics like 'Magical Dream' and 'Sunrise'.

I'm sorry to say that I left 808 State in 1993 to go and explore the infant 'Hardcore/ Jungle' scene and all that was to become 'IDM' being released on Warp. I'm seriously thinking of picking up Outpost Transmission somewhere, though.

Auction is back up at Ebay. The winning bidder backed out so I've relisted. I had no idea that the original 'Newbuild' was so sought after. (I brought it again when it was reissued on CD).

It's pretty rare to see one with the sticker. I waited a long time before getting on myself.

Newbuild has in recent years again and again been hailed as groundbreaking UK acid, classic, one of a kind and all time great. Fully deserved. Hence the interest is maintained.

It says auction has ended. What is the URL of the new auction?

I think the one with the sticker means its the second pressing (still on creed) it says acid tracks featuring a guy called Gerald, the distributers did it after the sucses of voodoo ray.
