Vocal contributions - What's their story?

Now that Mr. Massey is active on the forum, I came to think of another retrospective subject I would love to have inlightend. Vocals.

I have compiled a list of 808 vocalist. I think it could be interesting to know how 808 State came to know of these people - and why they where asked to participate on the particular tracks.

For Barney, Bjork, Ian and James I guess it is obvious how you came to know them. So left to ask, in their case, is why they where asked to join.
