I also would be interested in finding out from any iTunes Store users in which store the 808 catalogue is available - US, UK or both?

In addition to Graham's posting regarding 808:88:98:
According to the press release the street date is 5 December. The distributor is Navarre Corp, whom ZTT have a distribution agreement with, they claim 4 October.
It has to be noted that the tracklisting is the same as the UK release, so is actually different from the previous US & Canada releases with were on Universal. We may be in for a different packaging.

Well Graham, I use the iTunes once and while; and to kinda answer your question Markus:
on the danish iTunes-store, the following 808 State stuff is available:
90, Ex:El, Gorgeous, Don Solaris, 808:88:98 (with the UK-tracklisting)
And the remixes of:
FGTH: Two Tribes
Afrika Bambaataa: Planet Rock

And if it's on the danish iTunes-store, I'd be very surprised if it wasn't on the U.S. or U.K.- ditto...

(Whoa! Nick beat my last posting by 5 minutes - DAMN!) :P
BTW and FYI, MC Tunes' "The North At It's Heights" can also be bought for DL at the iTunes-store...
O.K., this may not be directly about 808state at the iTunes store
nor have anything to do with the stateside 808:88:98 reissue
- but it is topic-wise kinda related, IMHO!

Most definitely on-topic - hadn't noticed the MC Tunes album on there! :D

Yes, info really appreciated. Especially since the CD is so rare.

Thought so...

FYI, this is what I've found of various 808 State stuff spread out at some of the iTunes-outlets:

US-iTunes:
808State:
- Ex:El
- Outpost Transmissions

808 State remixes:
- Afrika Bambaataa: Planet Rock (Planet Rock 808 State Remix)
- The Black Dog & Black Sifichi: Let's Talk Music (808 State Mix)

UK-iTunes:
808State:
- Ninety
- Ex:El
- Gorgeous
- Don Solaris
- 808:88:98

808 State remixes:
- FGTH: Two Tribes (808 State Remix)

808 State Related:
- MC Tunes: The North At It's Heights

DK-iTunes: (kinda lame inclusion maybe, but just for comparison...)
808State:
- Ninety
- Ex:El
- Gorgeous
- Don Solaris
- 808:88:98

808 State remixes:
- Afrika Bambaataa: Planet Rock (Planet Rock 808 State Remix)
- FGTH: Two Tribes (808 State Remix)

808 State Related:
- MC Tunes: The North At It's Heights

I will now promise NEVER to whine and moan 'bout the DK-iTunes store in this forum again! :D
Unfortunately, I haven't got the time to check out the other iTunes-outlets! :-?
But if there's anybody else out there, who does - why not post the intel?

At least, so Graham (et al.) has an idea 'bout, which iTunes sell what of 808 State's stuff! 8)

(P.S. Yes, I'm surprised 'bout the difference between the three above-mentioned stores regarding the selection of 808 State-stuff!)

Calling all Americans, did anyone of you buy the 88:98 re-issue? Just wondering if the record label sleevenotes are different.

Liner notes by John McCready, apparently, so assume that it's the same as the UK ZTT100CD format?
