I *think* that Danny And The Dressmakers were before the Beach Surgeons that, in turn, were just before Biting Tongues (although those two bands tended to run in parallel for the first couple of years)?

yes nick right evrything ran in parralel for a bit.
my 1st band was actualy called Aqua (not to be confused with the barbie girl hit band of the 90s) we were a Gong copy band alive in 1977.
