Will 808State be playing again??

Its taking place on the 30th March with last years DVD to be released at the same time. Hopefully 808 will have an extended set this year, should they play. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

the bands were supposed to be announced starting this week but i've heard nothing. rumours have suggesred both oasis and the charlatans though. both would be great.

really hoping for another dosage of 808 as well.

Really looking forward to it whoever plays, as last years was amazing and it's really nice to think that while everyone was off it and having a great time, a load of money was being made for an extremely worthy cause.

No ones asked but i dare say they re not just going to do the same show again unless it was in a diferent city (which was mentioned at one point)

Said in NME yesterday that Ian Brown and Peter Hook are the only two acts confirmed so far.

Not a bad start. (Although it does also confirm that New Order wont be the headliner again if Hook has been confirmed on his own). Would be great if they got the charlatans on the bill. We'll find out on fri I suppose.

I spectacularly failed to go to the after-show party - got chatting (and drinking) with some mates in a bar after the gig, and before we knew it, it was 3:30am.... And the after-show finished at 4:30am... Ah well...

However, I did pick up a handful of flyers for it, so I'll scan that in when I wake up on Sunday!
