The Royal Family And The Poor (remodelled by Graham Massey)

Post by nickking »

Out on 6th September is the sequel to "Cool As Ice", entitled "Twice As Nice" (LTM, LTMCD2398) - a compilation of tracks produced by New Order under the name "BeMusic".

On Twice As Nice, according to John's Cerysmatic Factory site here - http://www.cerysmaticfactory.info/index ... d2398.html, the 12th track is credited as follows:

"Track 12: Motherland (Remix) by The Royal Family and The Poor
Based on an original track recorded at Trident Studios, London, January 1983. Subsequently mixed at Revolution Studios, Cheadle Hulme, Manchester, May 1984 by Be Music (Peter Hook). Remodelled by Graham Massey in 2004. Written by Mike Keane. Published by Copyright Control. Originally released on the album Temple of the 13th Tribe on Factory Records (Fact 95), 1984."

Another reason to go and buy it, then! :D

Let me point out that I woulnt count this as a remix,Ive simply played some bass on it,as a favour to LTM,so it matches up to the other material, Hookie did the origenal

No probs, I was going to buy it anyway due to the New Order connections, and the fact I wouldn't mind hearing some of these tracks in CD quality! :D

I was guessing it wasn't a remix as such, but it should still be interesting to hear it.

Cheers,

Nick ;)

The CD is available to buy now directly from James Nice, although it won't be in the shops until September.

Go to http://www.ltmpub.freeserve.co.uk/bemusic.html and follow the link for "Shopping/Mailorder".

As stated before, I'm buying this anyway, due to the New Order connections (pretty big fan, you could say)! :P
